it's been a long time since grandma cooked us laksa :)
she have been telling me she wants to cook laksa for us for days!
i figured that it really has been a while since our last laksa,
so, i shall really record this.
this is the first time i take pictures of grandma cooking
Grandma's Laksa ingredients:
nine small fishes, 濑粉, sliced cucumbers,
a flower, peppermint leaves, assam, sayur,
and lots of love ♥ ♥ ♥ .
1. make the chilli paste;
2. cook the nine fishes;
3.ask granddaughter to 拆鱼
i transformed the fish from this
to this!!
not a fish fan,
and had merely touched a dead raw fish,
so this is my clooooooooosest interaction with a dead fish.
i minimized the usage of my hands,
which i only used four fingers to do the fish,
but my hands still smell like fish :(
4. do the peppermint leaves :)
5. place the veges on the table
follow these steps you can also make great laksa :D
her hands fed us four, cooked for us four,
as time passes,
her wrinkly hands get weaker,
i admit there are times i get frustrated with her,
but i feel guilty every single time.
she's the best thing in our lives,
for having a grandma still healthy and cooking and nagging
despite the grumblings,
deep inside,
i'm fucking grateful.
